Why are donations important to the Foundation for the Training of Surgeons and Research in Cancer Surgery, Inc?Donations to the Foundation for the Training of Surgeons and Research in Cancer Surgery, Inc. will be used to fund the surgical and cancer treatment of indigent patients. Consequently, this will also help fund the research programs of the [USTH] Department of Surgery, including the clinical exposure of residents, interns, and medical students. This includes support for postgraduate subspecialty fellowship programs as well. Finally, the donations will also fund public health advocacy programs, consistent with the vision of the foundation.
