Brain tumors despite being rare are becoming global burden due to its high mortality rate especially among low to middle socioeconomic classes, thus affecting patient’s standard quality of life and financial costs. To date, the best option to achieve oncologic cure still largely depends on the extent of surgical resection. Modern technologies such as intraoperative neuroimaging, neuronavigation, electrophysiological neuromonitoring and cortical brain mapping are being utilized for brain tumor surgery.
